Indiana Wildlife Federation is proud to partner with Garden for Wildlife® and local Indiana growers to offer you a large selection of native plants in customizable quantities. While our Stantec native plant sale offers pre-designed kits of 50 native plugs, this bespoke sale allows you to build your own garden with plants you select. Your order will arrive in the mail, packaged neatly, and ready for planting.

In native gardening, we have a slogan for what to expect from a new garden planted in plugs; sleeping, creeping, and leaping. The first year, your plants may seem small and likely won’t flower. The second year, you will see signs of growth and maybe even flowers. The third year, your garden will take off, plants will likely grow significantly, and you will have many flowers. While it takes some patience, once your garden begins to flower, seed, and fill in, you will get to experience the year-long fireworks show in flowers. Different blooms in many colors appearing and disappearing as the seasons progress. It’s a rewarding experience like no other.
