Join our Certified Sustainable Trail Partners, Brownsburg Parks, on the Maple Ridge trail for an invasive species removal!

Brownsburg Parks has partnered with Southern Indiana Cooperative Invasive Management (SICIM) and Hendricks County Invasive Management Cooperative (HC-IMC) to participate in Weed Wrangle® 2022.

Weed Wrangle® is a state-wide clean-up event dedicated to ridding Indiana of non-native plant species. Volunteers are invited to help remove invasive plants.

Interested volunteers must be comfortable using hand tools and chemicals, such as herbicides. Volunteers ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves, but all other safety gear will be provided.
