Archeological Research Institute-The Guard Site

Join a guided tour led by an ARI archaeological interpreter. Learn about the culture of the Native people who once lived in the area. Hikers will experience an active archaeological site and see archaeologists in action. Visitors may even have the opportunity to see important archaeological artifacts unearthed. A short trail loops through the property as the interpreter explains features of native cultures, sustainable farming, and crucial wildlife habitat.
